Why Sake?

Modern sake as we know it has been made for well over 1000 years, both rich in history and a drink that is embedded into Japanese culture.

Usually referred to as ‘rice wine’ in the Western world, the process of making sake is actually closer related to beer brewing rather than wine making, but offers all the complexity and nuances that wine has to offer.
